     NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the City Council will be held
on Monday, May 3, 1999, at 11:30 a.m., in Centennial Square, 100 North Garfield Avenue,
Pasadena, to consider the following business pursuant to City Charter Section 406:

I.   	ROLL CALL/INVOCATION/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

II.  	INTRODUCTIONS/PRESENTATIONS/STATEMENTS

III. 	CANVASS OF APRIL 20, 1999 GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
     	Recommendation of City Clerk:   
     	(1)  Accept the Certificate of Canvass.
     	(2)  Adopt a resolution declaring that:  (a)  Bill Bogaard is elected to the office of
             Mayor of the City of Pasadena, and (b) Steve Haderlein is elected to the
             office of member of the City Council, District 4
