NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special joint meeting of the Pasadena City Council and the Pasadena Unified School District’s (PUSD) Board of Education will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Pasadena City Hall, Council Chamber, 100 North Garfield Avenue, Room S249, Pasadena, to discuss the matters listed below.

2. UPDATE AND DISCUSSION ON CITY AND PASADENA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT GREEN ENERGY INITIATIVES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO MUNICIPAL AND
SCHOOL SITE SOLAR PROJECTS)

3. DISCUSSION ON SHARED ADVOCACY EFFORTS TO LOBBY FOR ADEQUATE FEDERAL FUNDS TO SUPPORT CITY AND SCHOOL DISTRICT MANDATED SERVICES,
INCLUDING SERVICES RELATED TO PUBLIC HEALTH, HOUSING, AND SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES

4. DISCUSSION ON OPPORTUNITIES FOR CITY AND SCHOOL DISTRICT COLLABORATION EFFORTS RELATED TO AFTER SCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAMS,
INCLUDING JOINT USE AGREEMENTS AND EFFORTS RELATED TO SHARED SPACES

Note to the public: Public comments are limited to items on this special joint meeting agenda. An opportunity for public comment on items on the agenda will be provided at the time each item is discussed. Comments are limited to no more than 2 minutes each; and the Mayor and President may limit this time further if reasonable under the circumstances.

Free street parking is available on the streets surrounding City Hall beginning at 5:00 p.m. Free childcare will be provided for those attending the meeting at City Hall, 2^nd Floor, Room S222.
