NOTE TO PUBLIC: PUBLIC COMMENT IS LIMITED TO THIS SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA, AND LIMITED TO IN-PERSON COMMENTS ONLY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Special Organizational Meeting of the City Council will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, at 4:30 p.m., to discuss the matters listed below.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING

 

1.         ROLL CALL/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 

2.         ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE “CERTIFICATE OF THE CANVASS OF THE ELECTION RETURNS” AS PREPARED AND CERTIFIED BY THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY
            REGISTRAR-RECORDER/COUNTY CLERK FOR THE PASADENA GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION CONSOLIDATED WITH THE NOVEMBER 5, 2024, STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION

            RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council:
           
(1)    Find that the proposed action in the agenda report is not a project subject to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in Section 21065 and Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines, and
            as such, no environmental document pursuant to CEQA is required for the project; and
            (2)    Adopt a resolution accepting the “Certificate of the Canvass of the Election Returns” (Exhibit A to the resolution) as prepared and certified by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk for the
            Pasadena General Municipal Election, consolidated with the Statewide General Election held on November 5, 2024,
resulting in the passage of Measure PL (Library Bond Measure), and Charter Amendment
            Measures PA, PB, PC, PF, and PR amending the Pasadena City Charter.
