                                                                                                                      OF THE CITY COUNCIL
                                                                                                                         DECEMBER 7, 2020
                                                                                                                                   12:00 P.M. 

                                                          NOTE TO PUBLIC: City Hall Council Chamber is closed to the public until further notice.  

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Special Organizational Meeting of the City Council will be held on December 7, 2020, at 12:00 p.m., in the City Council Chamber, Room S249, City Hall, 100 North Garfield Avenue, Pasadena, to consider the following: 

                                                                                                               ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING 

I.          ROLL CALL/INVOCATION/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 

II.         ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE “CERTIFICATE OF THE CANVASS OF THE ELECTION RETURNS” AS PREPARED AND CERTIFIED BY THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY REGISTRAR-RECORDER/COUNTY CLERK FOR THE PASADENA GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION CONSOLIDATED WITH THE NOVEMBER 3, 2020 PRESIDENTIAL GENERAL ELECTION
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:
(1)    Find that the proposed action is not a project subject to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in Section 21065 and Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines and, as such, no environmental document pursuant to CEQA is required for the project; and
(2)    Adopt a resolution accepting the “Certificate of the Canvass of the Election Returns” (Exhibit A to the resolution) as prepared and certified by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk for the Pasadena General Municipal Election, consolidated with the Presidential General Election held on November 3, 2020, resulting in the election of Victor M. Gordo as Mayor of Pasadena, and the passage of Measure P amending the Pasadena City Charter.
