AND THE PASADENA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT

             NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special joint meeting of the Pasadena City Council and the Pasadena Unified School District Board of Education will be held on
Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at City Hall, Council Chamber, 100 North Garfield Avenue, Room S249, Pasadena.  The special joint meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. to discuss
the following items: 

1.         CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, AND CEREMONIAL MATTERS 

2.         COMMENTS FROM CONGRESSWOMAN JUDY CHU ON COMMUNITY SCHOOLS (To be heard at 6:30 p.m. or thereafter)         

3.         INFORMATIONAL UPDATE ON JOINT USE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS: 
(a)    Washington Middle School Gym
(b)    McKinley School Gym
(c)     Field Improvements at Muir High School           

4.         INFORMATIONAL PRESENTATION ON THE 2012 QUALITY OF LIFE INDEX REPORT 

5.         2013-2016 DRAFT SCHOOL/CITY WORK PLAN**
Recommendation:  It is recommended that the Board of Education and Pasadena City Council adopt the proposed 2013-2016 School/City Work Plan.
