                                OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE
ROSE BOWL OPERATING COMPANY TENANT RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE
                                                 MAY 13, 2003

                        Council Conference Room 240 (Closed Session)

     NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special joint meeting of the City Council and the 
Rose Bowl Operating Company Tenant Recruitment Committee will be held on Tuesday, 
May 13, 2003, 7:00 p.m., at Pasadena City Hall, 100 N. Garfield Avenue, Pasadena. 
The special joint meeting will convene in the Council Chamber, Room 247, for the purpose 
of hearing public comment (if any) on the closed session item listed below. Following 
public comment (if any), the City Council and the Rose Bowl Operating Company Tenant 
Recruitment Committee will recess and reconvene in the Council Conference Room 240 to 
discuss closed session Item 3.A., below. At the conclusion of the closed session, an 
additional opportunity for public comment will be provided in the Council Chamber, Room 247.

2. PUBLIC COMMENT - LIMITED TO ITEM 3.A. ON THIS SPECIAL JOINT MEETING NOTICE -
    Public comment will be limited to a total of 20 minutes at the beginning of the meeting and 
    will continue under Item 4 (below) "Public Comment (continued)". Please limit comments to 
    3 minutes each.

3. JOINT CLOSED SESSION CONFERENCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND OF THE ROSE BOWL 
    OPERATING COMPANY TENANT RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE

         Property: Rose Bowl Stadium and surrounding parking areas

         Under Negotiation: Price and Terms
