May is Water Awareness Month, and Pasadena Water & Power is celebrating by giving away a smart sprinkler controller to one lucky (and wise!) PWP customer every day in May. These clever devices save thousands of gallons of water every year by automatically adjusting your irrigation system's schedule according to plant needs and weather conditions. They even detect rain and shut off your sprinklers beforehand. PRETTY SMART, don't you think??

Rules:

1. You must be a current PWP residential water customer with an existing sprinkler system and traditional timer.

2. Enter online below or call PWP at 744-6970 to receive an entry form.

3. Winners will be notified by mail and posted on the website throughout May.

4. Winners will pick up their prizes at a one-hour workshop on June 4th where experts will demonstrate how to use the device. The workshop will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Tabernacle Community Room, 960 E. Walnut Street, Pasadena.

5. Entries must be received no later than May 30, 2009. Only one entry per PWP residential water account is allowed.
