WATER Conservation Rebates and Programs

PWP offers a number of rebates on water-efficient devices through the Metropolitan Water District's "Save-A-Buck Program." The rebate amounts listed below are special rates for PWP multi-family customers only, made possible by matching funds from PWP. Funds are limited, and rebate amounts are subject to change at any time. A REBATE RESERVATION MUST BE MADE PRIOR TO PURCHASE FOR ALL MULTI-FAMILY REBATES.

       

UPDATE, 9/14/2009 --  Metropolitan Water District will resume accepting reservations for the Save-A-Buck Program on Sept. 21, 2009.

High Efficiency Toilet (HET)         $50

HET (New Construction)   $30

Zero & Ultra-low Water Urinals (ZWU -ULFU)  ≤ 0.25 gpf       $200

ZWU & ULFU (Upgrade/New Construction) 0.25 gpf      $60

High Efficiency Clothes Washer  $100

Water Broom     $150

Weather-Based irrigation Controller     $25/station

Rotating Nozzles for Pop-up Spray Heads Retrofits      $5/nozzle

Synthetic Turf (Upgrade/New Construction)      $0.60/square foot

Block 5 Rate Relief Program: If you are a "Block 5" water customer and can demonstrate that you have implemented specific water conservation and efficiency measures from 2006-2008, you may apply for rate relief from Block 5. Project APPLE (Assisting Pasadena People with Limited Emergencies): Provides a one-time grant of up to $100 per year to help eligible low-income residential customers keep their power on. Your homeowners association or complex can make a tax-deductible donation by calling 744-4420 or by checking the Project APPLE box on your bill.
