In celebration of California's "Water
Awareness Month" in May, PWP invites all
kindergarten through twelfth grade students in Pasadena schools to take
part in a poster art contest on the theme "WATER
IS LIFE."
Art must be submitted
by June 6th and winners will be announced here on June 10th.
FIRST PLACE PRIZES
Grades K-5: Voucher
for one class at the
Armory Center for the Arts ($120 value)
Grades 6-8: $120 Gift
Certificate for Art Supplies
Grades 9-12: $120 Gift Certificate for
Art Supplies

Five Entries from each age group above will be recognized here on PWP's
website and also submitted for
consideration in the Metropolitan Water District's 2011 Poster Art
Contest on the same theme.
CONTEST
RULES OVERVIEW
-
Open to
all K-12 students in Pasadena public and private schools
-
Artwork
must be two-dimensional on 12"x18" paper or poster (do not
fold or roll)
-
Artwork
must pertain to the theme "Water is Life"
-
Artwork
must contain a brief written message on that theme
-
Artwork
must be accompanied by permission forms (for BOTH the PWP
and MWD contests) signed by student's parent or guardian
-
Submit
artwork and permission forms by June 6th, 2011 to Pasadena
