D&C CHARGE INCREASE 2012

On June 11, 2012 Pasadena City Council approved an amendment to the Light and Power Ordinance (P.M.C. 13.04), increasing the Distribution and Customer (D&C) Charge for all customer classes. PWP will apply the new rate to the first bill issued after July 15, 2012.

The D&C Charge is one of four components that make up the total electric charge. (See more info on all four electric rate components in Electric Rates Summary.) The D&C increase will generate an additional $3.75 million in annual revenue for funding projected capital investments and increased operational expenses.

For questions about how the increase will affect your bill, see the table below or call Customer Service at 626-744-4005. (News Media, please refer to the press release or contact Erica Rolufs at 626-744-4434 )
