Christmas Tree Recycling

*NOTE: Please remove all stands, ornaments and lights*.
Drop Off Locations If you prefer to recycle your Christmas tree prior to curbside collection, two drop-off sites will be in operations:

Eaton Blanche Park - 3100 E. Del Mar Blvd. Pasadena 91107

Bring your tree to the parking lot on Millicent Way.

Robinson Park - 1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave. Pasadena 91103

Bring your tree to the parking lot on Morton Street.

Dates: Monday December 29, 2008 through Saturday January 3, 2009
Time Open: 7:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. only.

Curbside Pickup

Christmas trees will be collected separately from your trash and will be recycled. Trees will be collected on your regular trash collection day the weeks of Monday January 5 through Friday January 16, 2009.

For your tree to be collected and recycled you:

Must place your tree at the CURB by 7:00 a.m. on your regular trash collection day.

Must remove all tinsel, ornaments and decorations.

Must remove all metal and plastic bowls/stands.

Must place tree on the curb, not in the alley

Please Note: If you choose to dispose of your tree after the last week of collection (January 16, 2009) you are responsible for chopping up the tree and placing it in your yard waste or trash container.
