MARKET
GOODS AND SERVICES AT WASHINGTON PARK FEST
Local businesses have a unique opportunity to market
their goods and services at a festival in Washington Park slated for
Saturday, Aug. 15.
Vendors of every type—food, clothing, jewelry, crafts, sports,
education, nonprofits and services—are encouraged to share their wares
during a relaxing get-together that promises a respite from the summer
heat.
The event combines three previously separate events—Northwest
Renaissance Festival, Washington Reunion and Family Fun Day.
The historic park at the corner of Washington Boulevard and El Molino
Avenue last year was restored to its original design through efforts led
by members of the Washington Reunion Association, in partnership with
city of Pasadena.
“This year we are combining efforts to celebrate the many facets of this
part of Pasadena—its unique amenities, history, and cultural diversity,”
said Lola Osborne, manager, Northwest Programs.
The festival encourages picnicking and will offer music, children’s
activities, a car exhibition and a handball tournament.
Vendor and sponsorship information and forms are available online at
www.cityofpasadena.net/washingtonparkfest
or by calling (626) 744-4791.
