“CAPITOL REPORT WITH CONGRESSMAN ADAM SCHIFF”
– New Episode Features California
Community Colleges Chancellor –
The newest edition of “Capitol Report with Congressman Adam Schiff” is
airing on 55 KPAS, the City of Pasadena’s cable’s cable television
channel, and on the Internet.
Schiff’s guest is Jack Scott Ph.D., who has been appointed chancellor of
the California Community Colleges. Dr. Scott is a former California
state senator and president emeritus of Pasadena City College.
Schiff and Scott discuss the economic crisis and state budget
challenges, the ability of community colleges to be “engines of economic
recovery” by preparing students for vocations or transfers to four-year
colleges, and the role community colleges play in meeting the needs of
unemployed residents and those with limited incomes.
“Capitol Report” airs Mondays at 2:30 p.m., Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m.,
Fridays at 8 a.m., Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Visit

“Capitol Report” is videotaped by the House Recording Studio, which is
made available to members of the U.S. Congress for communicating with
constituents in their home districts.
Schiff represents California’s 29th Congressional District and is a
member of the House Appropriations Committee, Judiciary Committee, and
Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. He is co-founder and
co-chair of the Democratic Study Group on National Security.
