Experience and comment on different
Pasadena locales with the self-guided MoveAbouts Tours. Let’s face
it: it’s one thing to form quick opinions as you zip by on the way
to work, but quite another to amble along a sidewalk and get the
feel for a place.
These unique tours highlight some of Pasadena’s most challenging
issues: residential density, the need for safe bike lanes, the
walk-ability of the city, architectural design, and more. You can
walk, bike, drive or ride a bus or the Gold Line for very different
perspectives. (Get a free all-day Metro Gold Line pass Saturday,
Aug. 29 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Fillmore Station.)
