STADIUM PARKING INFORMATION

                 *IMPORTANT NOTE
                        FOR THOSE ARRANGING PRIVATE
            TRANSPORTATION PICK-UPAFTER THE GAME
Please be aware that vehicles other than emergency vehicles will not be allowed down into the Rose Bowl Stadium area beginning as early as the 3rd quarter of the game.  This is done in preparation for one-way outbound game traffic.  All taxis, limos, hotel shuttles and personal pick-up vehicles that arrive once access is closed, will be held at the top perimeter of the Bowl until all one-way outbound traffic has exited.  (Approximately 1-2 hours).  It is suggested that you make alternative pickup point arrangements accordingly should your pick up ride not be allowed access.  

PARK & RIDE SHUTTLES:

On Thursday, January 1st, free continuous shuttle bus service are available at the following locations:

 "Old Pasadena" Shuttle at the Parsons Engineering parking lot, (100 West Walnut Street), at the corner Fair Oaks Avenue and Holly Street, in Pasadena.   There is a $30.00 charge for parking at Parsons. The shuttle runs continuously from 09:00 a.m., until approximately two hours after the end of the Game. Passengers are dropped off and picked up at the Rose Bowl within 50 feet of the stadium between Gates "B" and "C". Parking fees in Old Pasadena range upwards from $5 - $25 per vehicle.
Shuttles are equipped with wheelchair lifts.

VEHICLES:
Parking at the Rose Bowl Stadium is $30.00 per vehicle
Parking is available as early as 4:00 a.m., at the Rose Bowl.  Pasadena Police personnel will direct all vehicles without special passes into the first available General Parking lot from where they enter.  

Oversized/Large Vehicles:
Vehicles under 27' will be charged at the limo rate.
Vehicles 27' and larger will be charged at the bus rate.


PARKING WILL BE 5 STACKED - Guests will be unable to exit until the vehicles around them
leave. If you need to leave early, plan on using the shuttle service.

IN CASE OF HEAVY RAIN - Shuttle busses are strongly recommended.  There will be very limited parking in the immediate Rose Bowl area.  Only vehicles with passes and Disabled Person Placards will be allowed access into the Bowl area.  All other vehicles will be forced to park on the upper perimeter of the Rose Bowl area.

DISABLED PERSONS PARKING:
Handicap parking for non-commercial vehicles such as private automobiles is based on first come first parked.  The 
game day parking fee is $30.00.  Parking lots open at 8:00 a.m.  Handicap parking is available in parking lots: "B", "D" and "F".  The disabled person with ADA required identification must be in the vehicle bearing the handicap placard. All handicap vehicles are checked for required documentation by police personnel or their designated representative prior to entrance into the lot.  All patrons with proper identification and corresponding handicap placards will be parked in the closest available lot or location at the discretion of the police traffic personnel.

Disabled individuals in commercial vehicles, such as a limousine or bus, must park in the commercial (bus and limousine) lot ("Lot K") and pay the prevailing rate.  In the event that the person in the commercial vehicle does not want to pay the bus/limousine rate, they may be dropped off at the shuttle bus in Old Pasadena (in the drop off area at Holly and Fair Oaks) and ride the handicap accessible bus to the stadium.

Shuttle busses are equipped with wheelchair lifts. Shuttles will pick up and drop off within 50' of stadium gates "B" and "C".

RV's & MOTOR-HOMES - Overnight: 
Limited
overnight parking for RV's and Motor Homes at the Rose Bowl Stadium (Brookside Park) is available on a first come first serve basis for $100.00 per night plus a one-time fee of $30.00 for a tow vehicle - beginning at noon on  Saturday, December 29, 2009 until noon on Friday, January 2, 2009.  Tow vehicles will have in and out privileges up until 4:00 a.m. on game day.  RV's must be completely self-contained, as there are no hook-ups or dumping facilities.

RV's & MOTOR-HOMES - Game Day:
Game Day parking for RV's is $100.00
RV's arriving on Game Day will be directed to park along West Drive beginning at 8:00 a.m. - Spaces are very limited.  All other vehicles will be directed into General Parking lots.

RV's parked along West Drive will be required to leave within 90 minutes after the game ends.

CHARTER BUS/LIMO PARKING

Vehicles under 27' will be charged at the limo rate.
Vehicles 27' and larger will be charged at the bus rate.

*There is no limo drop off or staging area - all limos entering the stadium area will be charged the full rate and directed into the limo parking lot.

TAXIS
There will be no drop off area for Taxis.  All Taxis entering the Stadium area will be charged.  Drop offs can be made around the top perimeter of the Rose Bowl.
BEST BET:  Drop off at Parson's Parking lot at Fair Oaks Ave. and Walnut Street, in Old Town Pasadena - and then take a FREE shuttle from there.

NO Taxis will be allowed into the Rose Bowl Stadium area to pick up fares beginning as early 3rd quarter of the game.

The Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) busses and trains will be in service during the holiday.  BEST BET:  Take a bus to the area of Fair Oaks and Colorado or Fair Oaks and Walnut.  Walk to the Free Shuttle at Parson's (Walnut and Fair Oaks) and catch a ride into the Bowl.  GOLD LINE - to Holly Street Station walk across the street to Fair Oaks and Walnut for Free Shuttle ride into the Bowl.

                           TEMPORARY FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS
There will be FAA approved Temporary Flight Restrictions in effect over the Tournament of Roses Parade and Rose Bowl Game on January 1, 2009.  The flight restrictions will prevent aircraft from flying within 5nm of the Parade and 3nm of the Rose Bowl Stadium from the surface up to 3000 feet AGL (Above Ground Level).  These restrictions will go into effect at 6 am (PST) and conclude one hour after the game.  Pilots should use all available resources to determine the specific details of the Temporary Flight Restrictions prior to flight operations in the Pasadena area.

 ROSE BOWL STADIUM

The following items WILL NOT BE ALLOWED in the Stadium   
Bottles, containers, cans, thermoses, ice chests, picnic baskets, alcohol, signs, poles, chairs, umbrellas, weapons, knives, video recorders, horns, beach balls, footballs, soccer balls, Frisbees, flags/banners with poles, large musical instruments, fireworks, palm video-recorders, and drugs.

Backpacks will not be allowed in the stadium.

There will be a check-in of items not allowed into the Stadium, please check with the gate attendant for instructions.

PERMITTED ITEMS:
Small still cameras, sack lunches, binoculars, small radio, and medical prescriptions.

All patrons are subject to search by Police and/or security personnel at all gates.

LOST and FOUND:
Children who become separated from their families will be taken to the Police Headquarters located on the concourse to the front of the Rose Bowl Stadium  

Lost and found will be located in the Police Headquarters trailer on the east side of the stadium, next to Gate B.
