 The Stuart

Preservation of the Stuart Pharmaceutical building and landscaping.  Demolition of the remaining buildings on site.  Construction of four level residential building with 188 apartment units including 12 affordable units.  Parking two-level, 267 car parking structure (one level podium and one partially subterranean parking level).  Project is to be located adjacent to the Sierra Madre Villa Gold Line Station.

Project Approvals


PPR submitted July 2002 and completed in August 2002.  Relief from replacement building permit approved by Historic Preservation Commission on April 25, 2003.  Temporary perimeter landscape plan approved for site on June 4, 2003.  Variance for reduced yards and parking approved on September 3, 2003.  Concept Design approved on September 10, 2003.  50% Advisory Design Review approved on February 9, 2004.

Now open and leasing units.
