COMMUNITY PLANNING

EAST COLORADO SPECIFIC PLAN

Adopted November 24, 2003

The East Colorado Boulevard Specific Plan is a planning effort sponsored by the City to evaluate land use and development patterns along East Colorado Boulevard and Allen Avenue and recommend enhancements, improvements and development alternatives for the area.

Route 66 - East Colorado Blvd. Specific Plan

The Plan area includes all parcels with frontage on East Colorado Blvd. between Catalina Avenue and the eastern City boundary and all parcels with frontage on Allen Avenue between Colorado Blvd. and the 210 Freeway.

The development of the East Colorado Blvd. Specific Plan included an extensive community outreach effort, including numerous community meetings and presentations. In addition, a group of local residents and merchants participated in monthly meetings on a "Coordinating Committee" to guide the direction of the Plan. The East Colorado Boulevard Specific Plan was approved by the Pasadena City Council on May 12, 2003.
