Field Archery Tournaments are held every Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 3D Tournaments are held on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Bowhunter style tournaments are held once a month from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. visitors are welcome. Participants must have their own equipment. Tournament fees are $2 for members and $5 for non-members. Call (626) 447-7600 for more information.
In-Line Skating Days/Hours Location $25.00 per lesson I
Offered by the Pasanita Obedience Club, Inc. in Brookside Park. Classes are 10 weeks long and run continuously throughout the year on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Pasanita has been conducting dog obedience classes for over 50 years and they re co-sponsored by the City of Pasadena. These classes are recommended by the Pasadena Humane Society. Fly Casting Instruction Free Learn the fundamentals of fly casting and fly fishing or polish your own technique. Instructors are members of Pasadena Casting Club - many of whom are nationally recognized experts. Arroyo Casting Pool is located at 415 South Arroyo (at California and Arroyo blvd.) Rods are provided or bring your own. This program is presented in cooperation with the Human Services, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department. Youth Month August is Youth Month in Pasadena. Throughout the month activities are held to engage school age youth 7 year through 17 in a variety of events. There are trips, college tours, seminars, art projects and many other activities to entertain, enrich and teach children and youth.
