APPROVAL OF CONSENT TO ASSIGNMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PASADENA,
IPC (USA) INC., AND TRUMAN ARNOLD COMPANIES FOR PURCHASES OF RENEWABLE
DIESEL FUEL
Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:
(1)
Find
that the proposed contract is exempt from the California Environmental
Quality Act (“CEQA”) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3);
and
(2)
Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the Consent to Assignment
Agreement between the City of Pasadena, IPC (USA) Inc., and Truman Arnold
Companies for Purchases of Renewable Diesel Fuel.

REJECTION OF BIDS FOR CITYWIDE TREE AND STUMP REMOVAL
Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:
(1)
Find
that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines in accordance with Article 19, Class 1,
Section 15301, Existing Facilities, Subsection (h), which exempts
maintenance of existing landscaping; and
(2)
It is
recommended that the City Council reject all bids received on October 30,
2019 in response to the Notice Inviting Bids for citywide tree and stump
removal for the Department of Public Works.

AUTHORIZE PURCHASE ORDER WITH SENSITIVE INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY DBA DESERT
INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY, TO FURNISH PLUMBING SUPPLIES FOR AN AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED
$270,000
Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:
(1)
Find
that this action is exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
in accordance with Section 15061(b)(3), the General Rule that CEQA only
applies to projects that may have an effect on the environment; and
(2)
Accept the bid dated November 26, 2019, submitted by Sensitive Industrial
Supply dba Desert Industrial Supply (Desert Industrial), in response to the
specifications to furnish plumbing supplies, reject all other bids received,
and authorize the issuance of a purchase order with Desert Industrial in an
amount not-to-exceed $270,000 over a three-year period with the option of
two one-year extensions in the annual amount of $90,000, at the discretion
of the City Manager, for a maximum total contract length of five years and a
total contract amount of $450,000.
