To hold hearings and rule on uncorrected
violations of the Housing Code (as a final step to City prosecution), appeals regarding
code violations, and on all proposed demolitions. The Housing Code sets minimum standards
and requirements for housing.
Composition
Nine members. One appointed by each of the
seven Council members and the Mayor. The Mayor shall nominate one member from persons recommended
by the other seven council members. Pasadena residency required. Members required to file annual
Statement of Economic Interest.
