A portion of the project funding for the seismic upgrade and
rehabilitation of Pasadena City Hall will be raised by the City of
Pasadena through a combination of grant awards and fund-raising
activities/souvenirs.
GRANTS
Throughout the duration of the project, the city
actively pursued all available federal, state, local and foundation grant
opportunities in order to offset the project construction costs. The City
was successful, to date, in
securing a total of $10,595,414 in grant funding through the
following agencies:

KTLA Channel 5 on Earthquake preparedness in 2006 and the City

City Hall Souvenirs Help Pave the Way

and cloisonné pins, all proceeds from the sale of official city
souvenirs were targeted to help fund the city hall project. The city
