A portion of the project funding for the seismic upgrade and
rehabilitation of Pasadena City Hall will be raised by the City of
Pasadena through a combination of grant awards and fund-raising
Throughout the duration of the project, the city
actively pursued all available federal, state, local and foundation grant
opportunities in order to offset the project construction costs. The City
was successful, to date, in
securing a total of $10,595,414 in grant funding through the
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) - Hazard
Mitigation Program Grant (HMPG):
California Heritage Fund Grant (CHF): $100,000
FEMA 2005 Pre Disaster Mitigation Grant (PDM):
California Cultural and Historical Endowment Grant
(CCHE) 2006: $800,000
