This program is an effective tool in educating the public in regards to safer driving habits. The Pasadena Police Department is committed to reducing the number of traffic collisions resulting from speed (aggressive driving). “In partnership with the Office of Traffic Safety and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, we are committed to these types of programs with the hope of changing the driving habits of drivers who do not realize the consequences of this kind of dangerous driving,” say Acting Chief of Police Christopher Vicino. “These programs are funded through the Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and we believe that they mitigate speed related injuries and death.”
